Hidden Art Friday

thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving.  I love turkey, I love the side dishes, I love pulling out my good china (my grandmother’s, from England), I love our developing family traditions.  And I love leftover turkey!  On the menu for the next week or two: turkey tortilla soup, turkey pot pie, turkey-rice enchiladas, turkey noodle soup.  How many leftovers do you have at your house?

It’s been an exhausting week, but Christie convicted me that I could get a lot done if I didn’t let myself crash on the couch as soon as the kids are in bed.  I’m going to try to create a new habit of 20 minutes of productivity after the kids’ bedtime.

And a couple oldies-but-goodies posts to share with you this week…

Is anyone else’s house ever overtaken by lego creations?  I am intrigued by this lego storage system at A Typical English Home.

When friends are going through tough times, it’s tempting to say, “God never gives you more than you can handle.”  Nancy Wilson has a good correction to that.

Have a lovely weekend!
