Last summer, we spent a week talking about our favorite healthy snack ideas, and I even collected a bunch of fun themed snack ideas from pinterest. I’ll be honest–most of the time I still just wash up a couple bunches of grapes and send the kids outside with them, still in the colander. But the other day I was desperate to get some protein down my little beanpole, so we made spiders out of cuties, pretzel sticks, and sunflower seed butter. She scraped her plate clean and asked for seconds. If an extra two minutes to make the snack cute helps her eat twice as much, that’s a price I’m willing to pay!
